Sub: Inviting public comments on the draft of the proposed syllabus under the Revised Scheme of Education and Training which has been notified for public comments.

The draft amendments in the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 containing the Revised Scheme of Education and Training approved by the Council of the Institute has been hosted on the website of the Institute vide our Announcement dated 21st April, 2016 at the link: http://www.icai.org/new_post.html?post_id=12571&c_id=219 seeking comments of stakeholders and public at large. Regulation 25F, 28G and 31(iv) of the proposed draft regulations empowers the Council of the Institute to approve the syllabus from time to time for Foundation, Intermediate and Final Examination respectively. Accordingly, the Institute has hosted the detailed contents of the draft proposed syllabus under the Revised Scheme of Education and Training on its website i.e. http://www.icai.org/ under the heading “Most Important” at the link: http://resource.cdn.icai.org/42291bos32007.PDF. The stakeholders may send their suggestions/objections on the aforesaid draft syllabus, by visiting the link: https://goo.gl/V1WQ2y latest by 18th June, 2016.
